Arman Farhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and a Funded Investigator at the CONNECT Centre. He completed his BSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Azad University of Najafabad, Iran in 2007, followed by an MSc from Sadjad University of Technology, Mashhad, Iran in 2010. He earned his PhD from Trinity College Dublin in 2016 and continued as a postdoctoral researcher at CONNECT until 2018.
Research Interests: His research focuses on wireless communications, digital signal processing for communications, multiuser communications, multiple antenna systems, and multicarrier systems. These areas are critical for advancing next-generation wireless technologies, including 5G and beyond.
Currently, Arman is the Principal Investigator on several projects funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), including the SFI Frontiers for the Future programme and an SFI-funded project under the US-Ireland R&D Partnership.
