Dr. Arka Som is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the group of Prof. Dr. Pol Besenius at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Department of Chemistry) since July 2023. His research focuses on supramolecular material chemistry and synthetic carbohydrate vaccines. He previously held positions as a Research Associate and provisional Research Associate at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (Bangalore, India), where he completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry under Prof. Sarit S Agasti.
