Arjan Post is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, KU Leuven, specializing in Islamic studies with a focus on the intersection of Sufism, Islamic theology, and jurisprudence. He leads the Leuven Centre for the Study of Islamic Culture and Society and is actively involved in several interdisciplinary research groups.
- Key Research Areas: Sufism, Hanbalism, Ibn Taymiyya, Islamic ethics, and ʿilm al-kalam.
