Dr. Arielle McKee is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Wake Forest University, specializing in Middle English literature and medieval romance. Her research explores representations of the supernatural, gender dynamics, and ecological perspectives in medieval texts.
Publications include analyses of chivalric failure in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, environmental themes in Arthurian histories, and ecocritical readings of animated adaptations. Current projects investigate fairy lore and pedagogical approaches to Arthurian tradition. She teaches courses on British literature and literary interpretation.
