Arianne Baggerman

Arianne Baggerman (born 1959) is a Dutch historian specializing in egodocuments, the history of publishing, and autobiographical writing. She serves as Visiting Professor at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and was appointed Professor of the History of Publishing and Book Trade at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. Her research centers on cultural transformations in the Netherlands between 1750-1914, particularly examining how educational practices, temporal experiences, and publisher interventions shaped autobiographical writing traditions.
