Arianna Pinello

Arianna Pinello is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), part of the Lutgert College of Business. She specializes in financial accounting and auditing, with research published in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research and Contemporary Accounting Research. Dr. Pinello holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Florida State University (2004) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Her research interests focus on auditing methodologies, regulatory compliance, and international accounting standards, with a particular emphasis on cross-cultural auditing practices and technological advancements in audit processes. She has been recognized for her teaching excellence, receiving FGCU's 2015 Junior Faculty Teaching Excellence Award.
