Arianna Dick is a Lecturer of Food Technology at RMIT University's School of Science. Her research focuses on 3D printing technologies for customized food products, particularly examining the physical properties of semi-solid food materials such as rheology, texture, and microstructure. She holds a Master's in Food Science and Technology and a PhD in 3D printing of meat. Previously, she lectured at The University of Guayaquil-Ecuador and was a Guest Lecturer at The University of Queensland. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health), and 9 (Industry, Innovation). She is open to supervising Masters Research and PhD students.
Research interests include advancing 3D food printing techniques, tailoring nutritional profiles for individual needs, and promoting sustainability in food production. She has collaborated on projects like COSMIC-CUISINE, aiming to enhance astronaut well-being through 3D-printed foods. Arianna's academic background includes leadership in teaching and program development, emphasizing inclusive learning environments and student success.
