Arianna Alfieri

Arianna Alfieri is a Full Professor in the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP) at the Polytechnic University of Turin. She serves as the Coordinator of the Doctoral School of Management, Production and Design and is a Member of the Doctoral School Council. Her academic career includes previous positions as Associate Professor (untenured) at ESCP Europe, Research Fellow at ESCP Europe, and Visiting Researcher at Said Business School, Oxford.

Professor Alfieri's research focuses on Mathematical modeling, Production planning and control, Production systems, and Simulation optimization. Her work spans multiple areas of industrial engineering with particular emphasis on manufacturing technologies and systems. She is recognized for her expertise in applying mathematical approaches to solve complex production and operations management problems, with applications in both traditional manufacturing and emerging technologies like additive manufacturing.
