Dr. Aretina Bellizzi is a Research Fellow at Ghent University's Department of Literary Studies and a member of the Group for Early Modern Studies (GEMS). She specializes in literary studies, history, and philosophy, with a focus on Italian literature, classical reception, and 16th-19th century intellectual traditions. Her current project (2024-2027) investigates vernacular translations of Plato in Italy.
