Assoc. Prof. Arcan Yanık is currently affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), where he has served as an Associate Professor since 2020. Previously, he held roles including Doctorate Lecturer at ITU (2018–2020), Lecturer at Yeditepe University (2018), and conducted postdoctoral research at Oregon State University (2015–2017). His research focuses on Structural Dynamics, Structural Mechanics, and Earthquake Engineering, with notable contributions to seismic design and structural analysis. He received the Most Successful Doctoral Thesis Award (2014) and a TÜBITAK scholarship (2012).
