April Logan is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Salisbury University. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in English from Temple University. Her research focuses on African-American literature, postcolonial Anglophone Caribbean literature, and performance studies. She has published works on 19th- and 20th-century African-American writers and is currently revising articles on Mrs. A.E. Johnson and E. Pauline Johnson.
