Anusha Sundararajan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in managing chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and kidney stones, particularly through the Yale Multidisciplinary Stone Clinic. Her clinical practice emphasizes lifestyle modifications, pharmacological treatments, and dialysis to enhance kidney function and patient outcomes.
Dr. Sundararajan completed her MBBS at Stanley Medical College (India, 2009), followed by an MD in General Medicine from Coimbatore Medical College (2013). She undertook residencies in General Medicine (India) and Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital (2019), culminating in a Nephrology fellowship at Yale School of Medicine (2021).
Her clinical and research interests focus on kidney stone management, chronic kidney disease progression, and optimizing care for dialysis patients. She has contributed to studies on pandemic-related challenges in dialysis care, emphasizing patient support systems and continuity of treatment.
