معرفی
Antonio Masi is an Associate Professor at the University of Padova, affiliated with the Department of Agronomy, Food, Nutrition, Environment, and Energy (DAFNAE). His research focuses on environmental science, plant biology, and proteomics, with particular emphasis on perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination, phytoremediation, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Research Interests: Antonio Masi investigates plant stress tolerance mechanisms, the impact of environmental pollutants on crop physiology, and the application of omics technologies to agricultural and food systems. His work bridges toxicology, biochemistry, and agricultural sustainability, with recent studies on PFAS bioaccumulation in crops and fungal pathogenesis in sugarcane.
Publications: His recent articles explore PFAS effects on plant hydraulics, proteomic responses in contaminated crops, and biostimulant-nanotechnology synergy for sustainable farming. These studies span environmental science, plant physiology, and food safety disciplines, often analyzing contaminant transport and remediation strategies.
