Antonio Lara Pozuelo is an Honorary Professor in the Spanish Section of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). Originally from Villanueva de Córdoba, Spain, he earned his doctorate in Fribourg with a thesis on Federico García Lorca's poetry (1970). In 1975, he became the first full professor of Spanish language and literature at UNIL, shaping the Spanish Section’s structure and fostering academic excellence through teaching and research.
- Research Focus: Specialization in 20th-century Spanish poetry, novels, classical theatre, and concordance editions of key poets like Garcilaso de la Vega and Fray Luis de León.
