Antonio Facchetti is a Professor and Hightower Chair in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Georgia Tech, with adjunct roles at Northwestern University and Linköping University. He specializes in organic electronics, polymer materials, and energy-related nanomaterials. His research focuses on photovoltaics, flexible electronics, and semiconductor device engineering. Facchetti holds over 120 patents and has published >670 articles (H-index 132). He co-founded Flexterra Corporation as its CTO.
Education: Laurea (Chemistry, University of Milan) and PhD (Chemical Sciences, University of Milan). Key honors include AAAS Fellowship, MRS Fellowship, and the Giulio Natta Gold Medal.
