Dr. Antonia Hendrick is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Allied Health, Department of Social Work and Social Policy, The University of Western Australia. With a PhD from Curtin University (2010), she focuses on decolonizing social work education, cultural responsiveness, and systemic change. Her work prioritizes Indigenous collaboration, allyship, and participatory community practices. She co-led a successful ARC grant (2023–2025) to develop culturally responsive simulation tools for social work education.
Education:
- Bachelor of Social Work, 1st Class Honours (1997)
- PhD in Social Work (2010)
Research Interests: Decolonization, allyship, culturally responsive policies, participatory practice, and systemic inequities. She integrates lived experience educators (LEE) into curriculum design to address power differentials.
