Antoni Vaello Sebastià

Antoni Vaello Sebastià is an Associate Professor at the Department of Business Economics, University of the Balearic Islands. Born in La Vila Joiosa (1977), he holds a PhD in Quantitative Finance from the University of the Basque Country (2009) and a Degree in Economics from the University of Alicante (2001). His academic career includes teaching roles at the University of Alicante, Open University of Catalonia, and visiting scholar experience at UCLA Anderson School of Management.

His research focuses on derivatives, numerical methods for valuation, and financial econometrics, with publications in high-impact journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance and European Journal of Operational Research. He has contributed to a book chapter by Thomson-Aranzadi and collaborates with the Corporate Governance and Finance (GOFICO) research group.

He has participated in research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, Government of the Valencia Country, Government of the Basque Country, and University of Alicante.
