Antonella Accardo

Antonella Accardo is a Research Fellow at the Department of Energy (DENERG), Politecnico di Torino, where she also serves as an external teacher and course collaborator in the Master's Degree program in Decarbonization and Sustainability of Propulsion Systems under the Mechanical Engineering curriculum. Her work is centered on sustainability and environmental impact assessment in the automotive and energy sectors.

Her research interests focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), sustainable transport, hydrogen energy systems, and battery technologies. She applies these to evaluate the environmental footprint of emerging technologies such as electric drivetrains, hydrogen engines, and advanced battery thermal management systems.
