Anton Shiriaev

Anton Shiriaev is a full-time Professor at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), since 2009. Previously, he held a full-time Professor position at Umeå University's Department of Applied Physics and Electronics (2003–2009).

• Education: MSc (1993) and PhD (1997) in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg State University
• Research: Focuses on orbital stabilization, underactuated mechanical systems, nonlinear control theory, and trajectory planning for robotics

His recent work analyzes transverse coordinates for stabilization, robust control approaches, and applications to industrial/service robotics.
