Anton Dignös

Anton Dignös is a tenured Associate Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Faculty of Engineering, where he leads the Database Systems Research Group. He holds a PhD from the University of Zurich (2014) and has been a faculty member since 2014. His research focuses on temporal databases, time series data, and data analytics, with contributions to indexing, query optimization, and benchmarking tools like TSM-Bench and SEER.

Labs/Teams: Leads the Database Systems Research Group, collaborating on projects like the Period Index for temporal data and VISOR for data visualization tools.
