Dr. Antoinette Myers Perry serves as an AICAD Post-Graduate Teaching Fellow (2024-2026) at Moore College of Art & Design, where she contributes to the academic community through teaching and artistic practice.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Latin American Studies from Scripps College
- Master of Arts in Education: Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University
- Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from University of Southern California
- MFA from the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art
As a multimedia, multidisciplinary artist, poet, filmmaker, and painter, Dr. Myers Perry's semi-figurative/semi-abstract works explore themes of (re)memory, ancestry, and Gullah-Geechee genealogies/generational histories. Her creative practice bridges artistic expression with educational leadership, drawing from her extensive background in both K-12 and higher education administration.

Prior to her current academic position, Dr. Myers Perry held diverse educational roles including elementary school special education teacher, middle and high school dean of students and humanities teacher, and collegiate assistant dean of students and director of a multicultural resource center.
