Antoine Kahn

Antoine Kahn is a Professor of Engineering and Applied Science at Princeton University. His research focuses on the electronic, chemical, and structural properties of materials for thin-film electronic devices, with a current emphasis on organic semiconductors, dielectrics, and hybrid metal halide perovskites (MHP). He explores material and interface engineering to enhance device performance in applications like solar cells, light-emitting diodes, and flexible electronics.

Key research areas include surface and interface doping of MHPs, energy level alignment in devices, and stability mitigation through molecular treatments. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and American Vacuum Society, recognizing his contributions to materials science and vacuum technology.

Recent work highlighted in his seminar at the University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine includes reviews of MHP electronic structures, molecular dopant impacts, and degradation mitigation strategies.
