Antoine Hubert Jea Prouff is a Golomb Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Purdue University, affiliated with the College of Science. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from Université Paris-Saclay (Orsay) in June 2024 under Matthieu Léautaud.
- PhD: Mathematics, Université Paris-Saclay (Orsay), 2024
Research interests: Microlocal analysis, classical-quantum correspondence principle, and applications to PDE control theory, as well as branched optimal transport.
His recent work focuses on Egorov's theorem in the Weyl-Hörmander calculus, stability of damped wave equations, observability of Schrödinger equations, and optimal traffic plan stability in irrigation problems. These publications reflect his expertise in partial differential equations, geometric optics, and transport theory.
Teaching: In Spring 2025, he teaches MA 26500 Linear Algebra with sections at WALC 3154 and office hours in MATH 419.
