PD Dr. Antje Daniel is a University Assistant Postdoc at the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Vienna. She is also an Associate Researcher at the University of Johannesburg's Centre for Social Change and contributes to transdisciplinary climate action research through projects like SHiFT (2022–present) and FICSC-EUCSDDD (2024–2027). As Deputy Director (2023–2024) and §99 Professor (2023–2024) at the University of Vienna, she bridges academic research with civil society engagement.
- Education: PhD in Sociology from the University of Bayreuth's Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS) (2015), Certificate for University Teaching (2016)
