معرفی
Anthony Taylor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Management at the University of New Brunswick. His research focuses on understanding climate change impacts on forest ecosystems and developing adaptive forest management strategies. He holds a PhD in Forest Ecology from Lakehead University and has taught courses such as FOR 2006 (Introduction to Natural Resources Management) and FOR 4096 (Advanced Topics in Forest Management).
His academic interests include forest ecology, ecological modeling, and climate change mitigation. His work explores how climate change affects tree species distribution, growth resilience, and forest management practices. Recent research emphasizes modeling approaches to address challenges like tree mortality patterns, carbon sequestration dynamics, and wildfire regime shifts.
Dr. Taylor’s publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches to forest sustainability, including studies on boreal forest adaptation, species diversity effects on nutrient cycling, and economic implications of climate-driven forest changes. His lab focuses on integrating ecological data with policy and management frameworks to support climate-resilient forestry practices.
