Anthony Sanfilippo

Anthony Sanfilippo is a Professor in the Division of Cardiology within the Department of Medicine at Queen's University School of Medicine. He also holds the position of Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education.

He earned a B.Sc. (Honours) in Life Sciences (1976) and an M.D. (1981) from Queen's University, followed by fellowships in Internal Medicine (1985) and Cardiology (1987). He completed postgraduate training in Echocardiography at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital.

His clinical research focuses on echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and cardiac disease in women, with numerous publications in these areas.
