Anthony Becker

Anthony Becker is Professor of Economics at St. Olaf College, where he has taught since 1987. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University and a B.A. with Honors from the University of Maryland – College Park. As of July 1, 2024, he serves as the Minnesota State Economist, leading the Economic Analysis division at Minnesota Management and Budget, where he oversees state revenue forecasts and provides non-partisan economic advice to state leadership.
