Anthony Bahri is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Rider University, located in the Mike and Patti Hennessy Science and Technology Center. His research focuses on algebraic topology with specialization in toric topology, geometry, and homotopy theory of polyhedral products. He maintains active involvement in mathematical communities through conferences and seminars.
Research Interests: Algebraic topology, toric topology, geometric structures, and polyhedral products. His work bridges combinatorial geometry with topological methods, particularly investigating torus actions on manifolds and related algebraic structures.
Awards & Grants:
- Simons Foundation Research Funding (2011-2022)
- Dominick A. Iorio Faculty Research Award (2016)
Professional Activities: Organized the Princeton-Rider Workshop on Homotopy Theory of Polyhedral Products (2017) and participates in international programs including the Fields Institute's Focus Programs (2024, 2025). Regularly contributes to the Princeton Algebraic Topology Seminar and International Polyhedral Products Seminar.
