Anthime Rigoulay

Anthime Rigoulay is a Lecturer (ATER) and doctoral student in Latin literature at the University of Rouen Normandy, affiliated with the ERIAC research unit (UR 4705). He holds an Agrégé in classical literature (2019) and a Master's in Ancient Worlds from the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Ulm. His current research focuses on 'Irony in Latin Satires,' supervised by Bénédicte Delignon (Université Paris-Nanterre).

His academic specialties include Latin poetry, Augustan literature, and the study of irony and humor in authors like Lucilius, Horace, Persius, and Juvenal. Rigoulay is also engaged with ERIAC's research axes, particularly in linguistic and didactic approaches, and has participated in interdisciplinary initiatives such as the Rouen School of Phenomenology and the 'Vulnerability' thematic network.
