Anterpreet Dua serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Augusta University's Medical College of Georgia, with administrative appointments in The Graduate School.
Dr. Dua earned an MBBS from Government Medical University (1993) and maintains active certifications including ACLS (2014), BLS (2014), GA Composite Medical Board licensure (2014), and DEA registrations (2022, 2025).
Research focuses on regional anesthesia techniques for trauma and neurosurgery, with emphasis on nerve block efficacy (serratus anterior/sphenopalatine), neuroanesthesia protocols for awake procedures, and pain pathway neuroanatomy. Recent work bridges clinical practice with healthcare administration through business model analysis.
Publications demonstrate evolving expertise from foundational neuroanatomy (2022) to applied interventional techniques and systemic practice models (2023), highlighting translational research from basic science to clinical implementation.
