Anselm Skuhra

Prof. Dr. Anselm Skuhra is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Salzburg's Faculty of Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Vienna (1973) and was a scholar at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), Vienna (1972–1974). He has taught as a guest lecturer at universities including Denver-GSIS, Tübingen, Sarajevo, and Beijing FSU. His research focuses on global governance and international organizations, with notable publications on EU-Russia relations, Eastern enlargement, and Europeanization. He has led EU-funded projects in Russia and advised Salzburg's provincial government on development policy. Skuhra currently serves on editorial boards for Österreichische Zeitschrift für Politikwissenschaft (ÖZP) and the Austrian Journal of Development Studies (JEP), and previously co-founded the ECPR's Standing Group on International Relations (SGIR). His office is in Room 111 at Rudolfskai 42, Salzburg, with weekly office hours on Tuesdays.
