Prof Anotida Madzvamuse is a Visiting Researcher at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, University of Sussex. His research lies at the intersection of applied mathematics, computational biology, and biomedical engineering, focusing on mathematical and computational approaches to experimental sciences including cell motility, pattern formation, and pandemic modeling. He has led impactful collaborations with NHS trusts, local authorities, and industrial partners like IBIDI and CYTOO, and developed the HALOGEN Covid-19 Dashboard.

His research interests span applied mathematics, computational biology, and cell motility, with specific focus on reaction-diffusion systems, cell migration modeling, and epidemic forecasting.
