Annika Pettersson is a doctoral student at the Department of Educational Studies, Karlstad University, and a part-time mathematics teacher at Municipal Adult Education (MAE), Komvux Kristinehamn. Her research focuses on feedback methods in adult mathematics education and conceptual understanding, employing action research methodologies.
She collaborates with Yvonne Liljekvist on a project funded by the Swedish Institute for Educational Research, developing feedback methods for adult mathematics learning. Her work bridges theory and practice, aiming to improve teaching efficacy through empirical studies.
Notable contributions include exploring feedback's role in professional knowledge (2023), tracing student conceptual understanding via concept elements (2019), and analyzing upper secondary students' grasp of linear functions through graphic/algebraic representations (2016).
