Annika Krahn

Annika Krahn is a Lecturer in Religious Education and Biblical Theology at the Institute for Protestant Theology, University of Bamberg. Her career spans academic and teaching roles in Protestant theology, including positions at the University of Wuppertal, University of Bonn, and Thomas-Eßer-Berufskolleg Euskirchen. She holds a doctorate in New Testament and Religious Education from the University of Bonn (2016), with prior studies at Oxford, Cologne, and Amsterdam.

• Research focuses on religious education, children/youth engagement, climate justice, and anti-racism pedagogy.
• Key projects: "Children and Religion," "Developing Church Education with Children and Young People," and "Strengthening Denominational Religious Education at Vocational Schools (StReBe)."
• Her publications address transformative didactics, climate anxiety, eco-theology, and inclusion in Pauline theology.
