Annika Eriksson is Professor at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, serving as Assistant Head of Department. Her artistic practice spans film, photography, performance, and installation, exploring social dynamics and human-animal relationships within contemporary society. She has exhibited internationally at institutions including Tate Liverpool, Moderna Museet Malmö, and major biennials.
Her work examines societal structures through staged real-life situations and collaborative frameworks, blending documentary and speculative approaches. Since 2021, she collaborates with Fatima Hellberg under the collective Ada Frände.
