Annie Krieg is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Colorado State University (CSU), affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. She holds a PhD in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of Pittsburgh. Her teaching emphasizes student-centered pedagogy, focusing on creating inclusive classroom environments that foster critical thinking and community-building. Dr. Krieg has been recognized for her instructional excellence, including the 2025 Excellence in Teaching Award from the College of Liberal Arts and her status as a TILT Teaching Effectiveness Fellow.
Her research explores intersections of art, architecture, and historical memory across Europe.
