Dr. Annie Kenny is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences within the Faculty of Professional Programs at Université Sainte-Anne, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her research focuses on teacher professional development, educational equity, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Research Expertise: Dr. Kenny investigates the impact of initial training on teacher identity, professional integration in minority Francophone contexts, and strategies to support educators in culturally diverse classrooms. Her work emphasizes ethics, self-management in teaching, and student success.
Projects: She co-leads a national study on teacher well-being as a retention strategy (funded by ACUFC, 2021) and collaborates with the RÉVERBÈRE research network to advance well-being and success in diverse educational settings.
