Annie Dennis is a Lecturer in Paramedic Science at the University of Greenwich's School of Health Sciences. She graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2017 with second-class honours in Paramedic Science. Her professional experience includes three and a half years with the London Ambulance Service, followed by roles at the Heart of Kent Hospice as a Paramedic in the community team, and as a Custody Paramedic for the British Transport Police. She transitioned to primary care before joining her current academic position.
Her research focuses on paramedic practices across diverse settings including community hospice care, law enforcement environments, and primary healthcare. This encompasses patient management in life-limiting illnesses, autonomous practice in custody settings, and pre-hospital emergency response protocols.
