Annfrid Sivertsen

Annfrid Sivertsen is an Associate Professor in educational quality at the Faculty of Biosciences, Fisheries and Economics (BFE), UiT The Arctic University of Norway, where she also serves as Vice Dean for Education. She is based in Tromsø and leads the Learning Academy at BFE—an educational community promoting pedagogical excellence. Her work focuses on enhancing educational quality, integrating transversal skills, and advancing student-active teaching methods across BFE’s study programs.

The articles show a clear trend from laboratory-based pharmaceutical research toward educational leadership and evidence-based teaching practices.
