Anneliese Singh (she/they) is a Professor at Tulane University with appointments in the School of Social Work and Department of Psychology, while serving as Associate Provost for Faculty Development and Chief Officer for Academic Excellence & Opportunity. Her work centers on queer and trans communities, particularly people of color, with expertise in trauma, resilience, and identity development. She has authored key texts including The Racial Healing Handbook and The Queer and Trans Resilience Workbook.
Her research spans racial justice, LGBTQ+ mental health, and multicultural counseling. She co-founded the Trans Resilience Project and Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, leading NIH-funded trauma studies. Her academic focus includes trauma-informed care, systemic oppression impacts, and community-based interventions.
