Dr. Anne Strate is a researcher in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Rostock, leading the Fast-Field-Cycling NMR Relaxometry subgroup. She teaches Physical Chemistry I and Analytical Chemistry II, and serves on the faculty council.
Her research focuses on infrared spectroscopy, NMR techniques, and the structure/dynamics of ionic liquids and hydrogen bond systems. She holds a DFG research grant for studying rotational/translational dynamics in ionic liquids.
Her recent publications examine anisotropic motions in ionic liquids and hydrogen-bonding patterns, employing NMR relaxometry and molecular dynamics simulations.
