Anne Schlüter is a Lecturer at the Department of Sociology, University of Münster. She holds a PhD in Sociology (since 2021), a Master's in Sociology (2016–2021), and a Bachelor's in Sociology and Communication Science (2012–2016). Her research focuses on sociological differentiation theory, law and religion, asylum procedures, and qualitative methodologies. She has received the 2022 Hans-Böckler-Stiftung stipend for doctoral researchers.
Her teaching includes seminars on Émile Durkheim and Erving Goffman, as well as SPSS training courses. She has been affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence for Religion and Politics, the Graduate School of Sociology Münster (GRASS), and the Forschungskolleg RePliV. She actively contributes to networks like the FluchtforschungsBlog (editor), AK Flüchtlingsrecht (coordinator), and the Netzwerk Fluchtforschung.
Her recent work analyzes credibility assessment in German asylum claims involving religious conversion, presented at the ETMU conference (2023) and workshops at Oxford (2022). She co-authored a policy evaluation report on urban space management in Münster (2022).
