Anne Rohde is a Lecturer in Indigenous Education at Swinburne University of Technology, School of Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education. She is dedicated to equipping pre-service teachers with the knowledge and skills to teach with cultural awareness, respect, and a commitment to reconciliation. Her work spans teaching, research, and professional engagement in Indigenous education and trauma-informed practices.
Her research centers on embedding Indigenous perspectives and pedagogies into teaching and learning, with a particular focus on how trauma-aware approaches can enhance student development.
