Anne Robertson

Anne Robertson is the Distinguished Service Professor and William Kepler Whiteford Professor of Engineering at the Swanson School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh. She specializes in biomechanics, cerebrovascular disease, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Her research focuses on understanding hemodynamic factors in cerebral aneurysms, arterial tissue mechanics, and vascular grafts. Robertson has held prestigious positions such as Member of the Neuroscience and Ophthalmic Imaging Technologies Study Section (NIH) and has received awards including the 100 Women in STEM Award and the Beitle-Veltri Teaching Award.
