Professor Anne Pezet holds a position at the Department of Management at HEC Montréal. She specializes in organizational history, management theory, and strategic control systems. Her research explores the intersection of historical business practices, psychopolitical dynamics, and modern management frameworks.
Education: Doctorat en Sciences de Gestion (Paris-Dauphine), Maîtrise en Sciences de Gestion (Paris-Dauphine), DEA en Histoire des Techniques (Paris-Sorbonne).
Research interests focus on corporate social responsibility evolution, Quebec social transformation, and critical analysis of management control systems. She has authored/co-authored books and chapters analyzing influential management theorists and control mechanisms.
Recent publications include studies on Aluminum Cameroun's CSR practices (1950s-1980s) and historical analysis of management psychopolitics through Quebec media archives. Her work bridges organizational history with modern strategic frameworks.
Teaching includes courses on Quebec arts-business intersections, management history, and theoretical frameworks. She actively supervises PhD and MSc students, overseeing 21+ projects since 2020 covering diverse topics like organizational identity, municipal governance, and automation in restaurants.
