Anne O'Brien is a Senior Lecturer at Keele University's School of Allied Health Professions. She previously served as Head of School (2019-2024) and has been a key figure in advancing physiotherapy education and clinical practice in rheumatology.

Her research explores physiotherapy's role in MSK conditions, particularly PMR management and patient-reported experience measures (PREM). Recent work involves international co-design of exercise resources for PMR patients, funded by a £10,000 PMRGCAuk grant.
