Anne Neumann

Anne Neumann is Professor and Director of Research for the NTNU Energy Transition Initiative at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She holds appointments in the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management and serves as an Adjunct Professor at NHH Bergen. Her research examines industrial organization, regulation, and competition in energy markets using empirical methods.

She leads projects including 'Rally to the Valley' establishing hydrogen value chains in Nordic countries and 'POTENT' exploring ports as energy transition hubs. Her work analyzes fuel choices in transportation, LNG market dynamics, and electricity market impacts during energy crises.

Publications focus on energy commodity markets, decarbonization pathways, and policy frameworks for sustainable energy systems. Neumann serves as Senior Editor for Energy Policy and contributes to European energy policy discussions.
