Dr. Anne Mette Seines is an Associate Professor affiliated with the Department of Religion, Philosophy and History at the University of Agder. She holds a BA and MA in History from UiA and is a trained high school teacher in history and religion. Her research focuses on poison history, social history, and the history of medicine/psychiatry, particularly examining poison use in wildlife control, mental health institutionalization, and Scandinavian pharmacy governance.
