Anne Mette Adams

Dr. Anne Mette Adams is a Lecturer in Nursing at Flinders University's College of Nursing and Health Sciences and a Full Member of the Caring Futures Institute. With a clinical background in critical care across Denmark, Norway, and Australia, she specializes in patient-centered care, ICU agitation management, and guideline development. Her research emphasizes non-pharmacological strategies, nurse wellbeing, and evidence-based practice. She holds a PhD (2023) focused on clinical guidelines for agitation prevention in ICUs.
