Anne M. Dichele

Dr. Anne M. Dichele serves as Dean of the School of Education at Quinnipiac University, where she has been a faculty member since 1999. Holding a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut, along with a Master of Education from Harvard and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Northeastern University, she oversees teacher preparation programs and academic development initiatives. Located on the North Haven Campus, the School of Education offers dual-degree and graduate programs in elementary/secondary education, accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

Her scholarly contributions include two published poetry collections, 'Waiting for Wisdom' (2013) and 'Ankle Deep and Drowning' (2015), alongside research in education journals. The School received national recognition through the Exemplary Professional Development School Achievement Award (2017) for its partnership with Side by Side Charter School and Fair Haven Elementary School. She previously directed Quinnipiac's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program and co-founded Connecticut's first state-funded Side by Side Charter School.
